I dropped by and I realized that my blog's theme is really appropriate, once again. Gosh, I have so few posts in this yr, I'm sure many thought I have given up on blogging.

Oh yea, I guess blogging's pretty much out of my life thou' I still have the urge to write sth, esp. when it's during the exam period. It has been a busy year, and finally, I have the time to settle down and read my textbk and articles for HP429A. But I'm feeling so vexed about stuffs, about relationships, and about the future.

If only there's a crystal ball which I can look into, and see how I am like in the future, who I am with. I really hate having to make huge, major decisions in my life that would affect how my life would turn out to be like.

I'm supposed to be very free, but I feel perpetually tired and I really hate it when I'm always leaving work till the v.last min.

I'm lucky to have my besties around though. My dearies who have been listening a lot to me recently and amazingly, all gave the same suggestions despite I consulted them on different occasions.

Seriously, I never knew it's so hard to get out of someone's life.

I'm becoming an everydayminerals freak. They just launched some new stuffs and I'm going ga-ga over them.

There's this new retractable kabuki that i'll love to have!!

It's so cute and will be pefect on the go! N it'll be much more hygenic too since there's a cap protecting the bristles. Their kabukis r really wonderful and they have amazing ratings and reviews everywhere! Cos the synthetic bristles are like sooOo soft~ Makes you totally love buffing with it.

But it's 10USD cos' it's limited edition. Shugs. Too expensive and I dun exactly need a new kabuki. -.-

Then they have these eyeshadow quads too.

The one shown is the Lavender collection. I'll loOve to have the compact b'cos it's so

useful and adorable. N I lovE the sifter hole concept cos' u jus need to flip the lid open and dip the brush in! Mineral powder is so messy to handle with in the first place and this solves the problem. N yesh, i love that that wide mirror and the cute little eyeshadow brush! But I dun really use eyeshadows and my palette can already last me a lifetime >.<"

Btw, it's 10USD too. Perhaps it's worthwhile cos' it's reusable.

But it'll be kinda silly to buy jus to have the compact. N I dun even use mineral eyeshadows! *shugs*

-shopping urge pls go away! I desparately need to save money! >.<"-

But if EM comes up with a blush compact, I wouldn't mind getting one, waHaha~

The new class schedule is up and I'm excited! Hehe.. I'm always v.excited at planning timetables, and I loVe uni life b'cos u can plan your own timetable.

I wanna take the seminar in interpersonal relations & family!~ Probably we'll meet the family systems theory again but well, it's actually one of my favs. by far, b'cos it's a V.realistic one (compared to Freud etc.) But it's a level 4 module once more and I'm hmM.. worried bout how the grade will turn out. Once again, it'll be like a class of 25 people and there's still a normal curve. Why can't they be like NBS, where normal curve doesn't exist for small classes?? Then everyone'll be challenging themselves instead of being moderated downwards when there's a ceiling effect.

I'm still deciding on the 2nd Psych module that i'll like to take, hehe~ Perhaps social psych in human com, psych testing or clinical. Not many other choices cos' well, we've generally taken the interesting ones.

Oh yesh. Since I didn't get a place in hall, I shall try to make it a 2-day week too, heHe~~

Time flies and i'm going to get my internship pay soon! Yippee yipee! =)
N boss says he's going to reward me with an additional $100 for good work performance!! *Whee!!*
Thou' it isn't a lot, it'll still fund me quite a bit for a shopping trip or two... heHehe.

I'm actually learning quite a lot by working for him. Thou' it's more of an entrepreneurial based. If I learn enough and i'm creative enough, perhaps I can even set up my own businesses next time and work from home everyday!! waHaha
I'm handling quite a lot of projects for him thou. 5 projects at the moment. Sometimes, I jus hope that he can quickly give the green light to hiring temps to help me. Then I will be given the authority to manage them.. wAhaha.

Anyway, I will be getting busy with CHC on weekends too cos' my M'sian colleagues are going home and 2 MSAs are graduating so.. they will be thrown out pretty soon >.<" Our new supervisor there made quite a few changes and added new rules.. Apparently, he hired 2 new MSAs then informed us bout it.. (cos' initially, we wanted to pass the jobs to needy frens/relatives..) So we'll have 2 new colleagues soon - 1 guy 1 girl. Hopefully, they are brave and nice people.. :)

I got shitty results.. (Only Trauma is alright, the rest, even Biz law, is bad)

My hall application failed.. (cut off is 15 points, and I missed by one point!)

I've nvr had such an emo day in the earlier 6 semesters. Usually, I've been pretty nonchalant when results were released. But for the last sem, I spent most time on work, projects and in school and I got the worst results in my whole NTU life, pulling down my cGPA again >.<"

For this coming sem, I have to work really hard to attain the impossible in order to maintain my 2nd upper or else i'll jolly well get a 2nd lower with cGPA of 3.99. or 3.98. Cries!! =(

I didn't manage to catch MSU b'cos it wasn't on TV, loL! Read from somewhere that it's due to lack of sponsers~ >.<

Anyway, I totally hate hardselling!!!!!. Anyone tried being trapped in an enclosed room and mentally drilled by 2 sales consultants to purchase some product or sign up for some service?? It's such a mental torment. Imagine that u r there for a supposedly pampering service (think massage, facial, anything), then this annoying sales consultant repeatedly enter the room u r in and bombards u with all kinds of treatments and additional services. When u clearly tell them that you do not wish to spend on any additional services, they entice u with even better promotions.

It's so annoying because u can't enjoy that pampering service that u have already paid for. And here, they are asking u to throw in more money so they can confine u to the salon for a longer period of time and then hardsell more and tap more money out from u.

When the treatment session finally ends, you thought that it's the end but no, u find yourself being led into an enclosed room and two sales consultants continue to drill and persuade you to sign up for more packages to complement the current one. I was actually trapped in that room for almost an hour despite I repeatedly said "no" and they knew I was in a rush for time.

I would have just walked out and banged the door behind me, if not because I still hav some remaining treatment sessions with them (mayb I should not even return since those sales consultants are always laying traps for customers so they can earn more commission).

Aiye. Totally irritating =x

She happened to be crowned winner for CAC's face pageant this AY.

Personnel paper was a like a total memory test. Dun rmb seeing any application qns at all =x So for Psych peeps with fantastic memory, pls go take Personnel and u'll probably ace it =) N the best thing is that u'll finish the whole paper in less than an hour (jus like for Evo Psych). Budden again, it may be subjected to downward moderation, aye aye~~ =x

Anyway, I'm sending my laptop to eight flags for servicing tmr~~ hopefully it'll be ready for collection when I come back from TW and jus b4 setting off for Redang. Whee!~~ TW TW TW!! I'm coming!!!~~ ^-^

I just collected my Everydaymineral stuffs from the delivery guy!~ Whee!!!~ my kabukis!!~ my blushes~~ n a super cute puff jar!! -gosh-

Luv luv luV kabukis and EM blushes. They r such great investments~ hehex. BHG is selling an item for like 22SGD and ordering thru sprees is only 4.17usd per item~~ After adding shipping and delivery, each item still costs less than 10SGD. I think I ordered too many jars thou'.. cos' the auntie at the BHG told me that EM's website may be blocked, just like wad ELF did. That's y i kinda er.. ordered more than what I need (=.=") Anyway, hopefully EM doesn't block it's website or else many many mineral lovers will be so upset.

Shall try out the colours only after exams, hehe. Patience, patience~~
If anyone wants to try mineral make-up, I can also spare a small portion for sampling~ Each application needs only like one pinch of the mineral (for blushes) and each large jar can probably offer like more than a hundred applications lo.

Anyway, y does it seem like there's so many things to rmb for personnel?? 25 fill-in-the-blanks and 20 short ans!! Freaking crazy. It's totally like a memory test and I dun like it. =x

So here I am, giving a v.brief update~

Just finished Trauma paper. I studied for it but I don't think I did well. My T&F answers were inclined towards Truth cos' I haven't been suspicious enuff =x Perhaps Fred's old grandfatherly look caused me to be too trusting. Anyway.. next up will be Personnel & Biz Law. Hopefully will do well for both. -Don't wan my GPA to plunge again- =x

N yay~ my TW trip is confirmed! ^0^ TW!!!! WheeS!~ It's going to be the first overseas that I'm going with beibei alone. Hopefully there won't be any serious conflicts or else I will probably hav to stroll alone in Taipei (luckily my map reading skills is pretty alright). N I haven't told my mum that I'm setting off on her birthday -sheesh- =x

Oh, and I'll be going to Redang with Clement, Matt, Alvin & bei!~ from 29th Apri till 1st May. It's a pity that Howe can't come with us. Hopefully Alvin can get a female fren to substitute Howe's place so that I won't feel so awkward being the only female~

Gonna rush back on 2nd May to pack my stuff and shift out of hall on the 3rd May. It's such a tedious chore and it's the 6th time i'm doing this =x Next sem, I shall not bring so many stuffs to hall already.

Starting my internship and sending Caro off on the 4th May. Time really flies and I can't believe that Caro is going back to France soon!! :( I'm not sure whether I'll get to meet her again next time and that really upsets me :( Shall save up and visit her in a couple of years =D It'll be really really nice to meet a long-distanced fren after a few years and see how much each other have changed~

Aiye, n I gotta code my GP's free-recall part soon!

Power of Love

My beibei is wonderfull!! He piggy-backed me for 2hours! =)

This morning, we participated in JP2's Power of Love competition. In this competition, the guy has to carry the girl for as long as possible, while keeping his feet in a designated heart-shaped space. The last standing couple wins $4,000+ worth of Gold Heart jewellary~

N so, i jokingly persuaded bei to sign up for this bout 3 weeks ago cos' i thought i'll be fun. Furthermore, he had always like to participate in such physical endurance competitions with his buddies in the past. Hence, over the 3 weeks, i tried vV.hard to lose weight and I managed to lose 2 kg and break my 50kg curse! =D N over the past week, beibei trained his arm power and did more pull-ups than usual :)

Initially, we were worried cos' I'm not small sized and weightlifters'll probably eagerly sign up with their puny-sized girlfriends. N just yesterday, jiaqi reminded us that cheerleaders can easily breeze thru' the competition since shoulder sit is the best way to lift someone off the ground for a long period of time. Shoulder sit is the way how fathers always put their kid on top of the shoulder. Luckily, the judges made it fair today by having a rule that the only method of carrying is piggy-backing.

There were 22 couples in total, but 7 withdrew even before the competition starts (=.=") N so, all the 15 guys carried their girlfriends on their back and tried their best to endure. Some of the couples were really stable cos' the guys were indeed big sized and the girls were well, tiny as expected. The guys probably have 15kg more muscles than bei and the girls seem to weigh 10kg lighter than me and together, this makes a whole lot difference. But surprisingly, 13couples managed to endure 2hours and they had to start an elimination round.

During that elimination round, the guy still has to piggy back the girl but this time, he can only stand on one dominant foot. N then we saw all the huge size guys lost their balance and tumble, hee. But beibei was really great cos' he managed to keep balance all the while till only us and another couple were left standing, eyeing for the grand prize. His feet was really really painful cos' he was standing barefooted and his dominant foot was almost numb from supporting all the weight. Thou' beibei finally lost his balance after a close fight, i'm still really proud of him!~ :) We finally emerged as 2nd in position and receive a goodied bag which is the same as wad the others received >.< If only Goldheart has sponsered top 3 prizes, then it wouldn't had been so dui. But still, the goodie bag's pretty good cos' i get to hav 2 free facial treatments, some sasa cyber colours sample products, Lots of vouchers for slimming, spas and more facials and of cos' Goldheart jewellery's vouchers. I think by far, this is like the best goodie bag i've received. :)

After that, we rushed back to bei's home and set off for Changi Airport with his family members. Had dinner and then we sent bei off with some other good frens. Bei's going to travel around Sydney and New Zealand, and about 60% of the time, he'll be travelling alone =x It'll be a lonely trip but i think it can make him even stronger and even more independent :) Hope that bei'll be safe and come back to me soon!~

I'm facing a financial crisis.

Just when i'm starting to tone down for my online shopping (my last online purchase was in last Dec), my mummy received a letter from CPF board saying that there isn't enough funds to deduct my sch fees.

Apparently, there's a rule stating that not more than 40% of the CPF amount can be used for education purposes. Hence, after deducting my kor's poly fees and part of me and my little bro's sch fees, the 40% is kinda dried up.

N as usual, rules are rigid, haix.

So now, i'll need to top up 1k for my this sem's sch fees. 1k!! That's 100hours of work at CHC, sheesh.

But next sem'll be more terrible. We'll hav to find 3k + for my fees and 1k++ for my little bro's fees.
Luckily i only hav 1.5more sems to go.

Sheesh, i really really really hav to save up money.
N yes, i shall lower my expenditure by a lot a lot.

Genting trip

Went Genting from 1/1/08 to 3/1/08 :)

12 of us!~ Jiaqi, Candice, Jiaqi's parents, me, beibei, Haiping, Sipei, Sipei's parents and Sipei's 2 sisters - Si Ling & Si Xuan. :)

This was taken on our return coach, haha. It was a double decker coach! Huge and spacious!

I've been to Genting b4 with my family and relatives when i was 16 but this trip is different. Cos' i'm going with frens instead and i'm of legal age to enter the casino :)

Genting's still pretty much the same. Except that there was a new tower for the first world hotel (and we got to stay there!) and that all the food prices have increased like crazy. A 3-piece chicken KFC meal costs RM18.10! Fish-o-fillet meal costs 17+RM! Not forgetting that M'sia charges 5% tax on everything.

Everything was so freaking expensive that we decided to go for a buffet dinner instead. There was 20% off and we ended up paying RM50.60 each.

Us at the buffet. There was a huge variety of food but the food was only so-so. There's salmon sashimi, stir fry veggies (u pick the veggies and they fry for u) and a strawberry chocolate fondue. The whole fondule is like a pretty shade of pick but it taste quite horrible. Too milky and sweet.

They hav ice cream too. But they serve such a huge scoop that u'll definitely get sick of it and won't return to the counter for more =x

On the 2nd day, we headed for the theme park. It was so hazy that day that most of the thrill rides were closed (much to my greatest relief and their disappointment, hee). Oh, and i was the only brave soul who wore shorts outdoors. It was 13 degree celcius lo!

We could only play with kiddy rides. Even the huge pirate ship that we tried was merely like a breezy swing cos' it drizzled and they haven't warm up the machine.

We played some underground rides thingy.

and watch some 4D kiddy show.

We played bumper cars and the indoor roller coasters too. But they were so-so only.

At night, we took a cab to mid-hill to have dinner at a mushroom farm!

Lots of mushrooms!!~ It was Sipei's mummy's b'day so she treated us to a feast there! The food's wonderful but i dun have the pics yet :)

N guess wad.. the whole meal (for 10 ppl), cost 202RM only!!!! So super duper cheap!!!

Oh, and M'sia's body shop hav this really nice Japanese Sakura Cherry Blossom series!! My new love, hahax. There was 30% off if we buy 3 items so i brought the body butter when Candice brought the lotion and perfume. We love this fragrance!~ :)

We watched a movie too. N it's a super horrible and disgusting show. It's so drama and boring that all 8 of us walked out of the cinema! Unless if u want to waste ur money, DON'T WATCH "The Spirit". It's an utter disappointment.

Oh, and i'm finally going back to hall later! Whee!~

I've had a busy and wonderful week :)

23rd Dec was with 20/04 gifts. Seamboat, chatting, x'mas exchange, teasing our dear cy who got 5.0 for his GPA. Received a 2009 organizer from Felicia~ Sweet :)

X'mas eve was spent with beibei and we went to haiping's house for countdown, gift exchange and ton thru'out the nite while playing Citedal :)

Met Pris & Jocelyn on Boxing day and we had a wonderful meal and gift exchange~ I luv luv luV my Dior Lipgloss from Pris, and purple long necklance from Jocelyn.

Beibei gav me wonderful gifts, a Bling bling belt which i pointed out when we were shopping, a little miss Sunshine water bottle, and
I brought him a pair of white leather shoes =)

This afternoon i met up with some new found buddies from Kidsworld camp. We went to MOF and had a wonderful lunch :)

Jus an update to let u guys know that i still exist, hahaX. There's some error with blogger now so i'm unable to upload my photos =x

Now it's the last day of yr 2008 and i'm pretty glad to enter yr 2009. As wad my mum said, 2008 hadn't been a good yr with all the financial crisis, terrorism overseas and so on. It hadn't been a good yr for me too. I've usually been v.healthy (though i rarely exercise) but i've seen the doctor so often this yr.

N my results for the previous sem hav been so horrible. So horrible that i dun understand where my effort had gone to.

Hope 2009'll be better :)

Anyway, i'm setting off for Genting with beibei, haiping, sipei, candice, Jiaqi & 6 other peeps on 1st Jan =) Will be back on 3rd and shall giv a thorough update on the 4th =)

Yesterday I accompanied my fren to the skin doctor @ Kovan to treat her acne condition. N the doctor was v.firm with the following points:

1. No moisturizer/lotion & toner
2. No Facials
3. No sunblock
4. If want to apply make-up, apply the foundation powder on directly onto the face
5. If your face is oily, wash and dab dry. Do not use blotting papers or tissue to dab the oil away!
6. No squeezing of pimples.

My god. the first 4 points really contradicts wad we know! Okay, perhaps facials aren't really good cos' extraction can cause scars. But no toner?? No moisturizer??? No sunblock???!! Gosh.
That'll cause wrinkles to pop up at 25 and cause us to age quickly!!

Mayb the above advices are only suitable for those with oily skin. But we were still quite stunned =x I forgot to ask bout bb cream though.

88 ultra-shimmer eyeshadow colours!!~ Gosh, they can last me for 30years!!~ Actually such eyeshadow palettes hav been around for quite some time but i used to think it's impractical to get it cos' i probably won't use 50% of them. Furthermore, i'm not a fan of eyeshadows and i only dab them on during special functions or when i go dating with bei. I guess i got it cos' it's Christmas soon and the shimmer colours are so... Christmas-sy!~ N i dun regret getting it too, cos' the colours are realli beautiful and i feel that i can really use it for 30 years or till they all dry up!~ loLx. N guess wad. Each colour cost only less than 50cents!~ Whee!~

Today i went to the NTU dental clinic to hav a dental check-up.

If u r surprised that there's a dental clinic in NTU, u r not alone. Cos' i didn't know it existed till sometime ago. Anyway, it's a tiny private clinic with only one dentist and 2 helpers and it's located above the medical centre. U can only access it by going up the stairs at the far end of the medical centre.

N if u r wondering why i went to visit the dentist on the day before my exam, it's b'cos i suspected that my a couple of my teeth are decaying simultaneously. It started out with trobbling pain for one particula tooth, then somehow, the pain diffused to several teeth nearby it. It was so unbearable that i kept awakening during sleep last night :( That's y i decided to drop by at the dentist despite wasting precious last-min revision time.

As usual, the dentist did x-rays (somehow, i always have to do x-ray scans during my dental visits) and became v.confused cos' there wasn't any decay. N so, he claims it's a classical toothache (which reminds me of classical conditioning). He described a classical toothache as a toothache without any apparent reason. N i was like.. huh??? (=.=")

So he suggested that i extract this particular tooth n my wisdom tooth. 2 teeth when none was decaying!! =|

In the end, i didn't go along with it cos' i need my molars to grind my vegetables.

At the end of the consultation, i was charged a total of $57!!~ *Shugs* $57 for being asked to take x-rays, hearing advices about extrating 2 teeth and being accidentally fed antibiotics by a personal nurse hence i hav to pay for the whole set of pills too.

$57 for not solving my toothache and wasting precious time.

It's gonna be the exam period but most of us still hav unfinished reports and presentations.. Once again, it's the stressful period but well, i guess i'm still regulating my stress pretty well :) N here's how i motivate myself and feel more calm...

When i start to feel stressed up, or when i feel so unmotivated to study, i'll think of this :)

Pretty furry boots!! *shit*. My shoppaholic instinct is creeping up on me again. Okie, i know it's super not practical to wear one in Sg and i dun even have anyplace at home to keep it. But well, i really want to have a pair of boots someday!~ (=.=")
So maybe, just maybe, i shall pamper myself by getting a pair after my exams. Then i'll wear it for X'mas and CNY.

N then, i'll think of X'Mas. Beautiful lightings, and the jolly spirit. It makes me happy =)

So.. the morale of the story is.. when u feel stressed, think of something nice and promise to pamper urself after u've win the battle!~ =)

My throat is inflame from coughing too hard! :( So i'm now taking antibiotics. 10pills of antibiotics cost $12++ So ex!~ =x

But anyway, i'm really happy and touched by so many ppl's concern :):) Jul & Caro will always ask me how i'm feelin =) N Stephie accompanied throughout the long wait at the medical centre!~ N Jiaying & Hueyhui too! For giving ample advices or suggestions on wad medication to take, hehe. N Jing Xian and Bear bear too!~ For showing their concern while i was coughing real hard during HP307 tut. I coughed so hard till there was blood in my mucus okies!~ Yucks!

And beibei came eat dinner with me after his 3 project meetings! Happi happi!~ =)

On Sat, i went shopping with Pris and i finally brought my Bobbi Brown long wearing gel eyeliner!~ Whee!!~ Finally, i invested in sth goOoD. :)

At night, we went to a pub near Somerset, called No. 5. The ambience was realli good and the chicken wings were FANTASTIC!~ I've nvr tasted such crispy, hot chicken wings!! loLx. N note that i dun exactly like chicken wings! (esp. BBQ ones).

Then after 9pm, we ordered a lychee martini cos' it was one-for-one special :) In fact, Pris drank 3 glasses while i drank only 1! And guess wad. I was completely drunk. (=.=") My tolerance for alcohol is really absurbly low, haix =( I felt so super dizzy and threw up in public! (luckily i had a paper bag with me). So disgusting and ugly :( Next time i shall NOT drink more than half a cup! loLx. Every time when i'm drunk, i'll throw up and that display the "i'm in such a great agony" look. N then i'll kept chanting "i feel so miserable!!" loLx. Anyway, baobei was realLi sweet to me and tolerate my "I feel so miserable" rantings all night, hehex. =)

Went hall cycling with Jul, CY & Caro on Friday night. We joined mingwei's grp and his OG mates are really nice peeps :) Budden, i feel so old!! *shugs* Next yr when the new batch comes in, i'll feel like i'm at retirement age, loLx. Dun like the fact that even the guys will be younger!! -shugs-

Anyway, We cycled from ECP to Changi Village (reminds me of my night cycling experience with my jc class :) ), then to Tampines (near bb's house!), to Bedok (where the famous ba chor mee stall was located at) then to Kallang's Mac. The original plan was to cycle all the way to Esplanade, but due to time constraints and butt sores, we cycled straight back to ECP after that.

N we managed to catch the beautiful sunrise!! Whee!~

Night cycling's realli fun!! I want to go for more night cycling events!!!! And it's really cheap too, cos' rental of a bike for a night (still got free bottle of mineral water and loaning of helmet) costs only $5!!!! Cheap cheap!! And oh yar, i didn't have any muscle ache at all, hehe. I guess cycling is wad my huge, tough calve muscles are best at, loLx!~

On 1st Oct, bb and i celebrated our 2nd anni!! Okie, not really celebrate cos' we didn't meet up on 1st Oct (despite it being a public hol :(:( ). But we did meet up on 30th Sept! We went to the 24h foodcourt outside JP at arnd 10.30pm and we shared a HUGE plate of fried hokkein mee at the 24h foodcourt to celebrate! Lol! It was a huge plate okie! $7 worth of hokkien mee!

I was supposed to stay over at hall 11 that night but as i was happily lazing on the bed and watching TV, bei's roomie suddenly came in and stunned us! We thought he already went home, loLx. Hence, i had to take 199 back to hall 13 :(

Ah, well. Here's to happier stuff :)

My request to start GP early has been granted!!!~~ YipeeS!~ =) So i'll be able to work with Yammie for GP! Happie happie!~ =) I've decided to accelerate not b'cos i dun enjoy uni life, but cos' of other personal reasons. In fact, i realli really enjoy Uni life and i feel that uni life is the best sch life ever~ It's just that my 4th yr will be vV.free if i do not accelerate, and i dun like the idea of being ideal :( Also, I'm spent so many holidays on Entre modules and special sems so i shouldn't waste the effort! But anyway, my mum's really happy for me now =) Dr Q & Cha hav been so nice to help me process my appeal and for providing advices. We r lucky to hav helpful profs=)

It's my recess week and half of it is gone :( I guess i haven't been v.hardworking for the past few says so i shall buck up! I still hav:

My EN105b personal report to finish and touch up. Just 1000 words more!~ After submission of this report on the 30th Sept, i'll be considered a graduate from my Entre minor!!~ yippees!! =) Oh! I hav yet to collect my sugarcane powder from Lester though. =x Shall collect it from him somewhere next week. My dear frens, pls support me by buying sugarcane crystals from me! $3.90 for a packet only :):)

This recess week is rather fulfilling cos'

Dr Majeet is bringing us down to the CID building for a visit!! This is so cool!~ cos' normal ppl dun get to go into this building for no apparent reason. Unless u r there to give a statement or is a victim (choy!) It has been soOoo many years since we got to go on an "excursion", loL!
I get to spend more time with bei =) During sch term, i only get to meet him once a week cos' he's soOo busy and i'm qt busy on certain days too. Though i appear to be understanding, i feel worried that i'll become more "sianx" in this r/p. Somehow, absence doesn't make me grow fonder. It makes me feel numb instead. Some more this stupid boy repeatedly persuaded me to allow him to hav 2 wives in the future (yesh, u can but i definitely wont be one of them!).
I get to spend more time with my family. Believe it or not, this is the first recess week throughout my uni life which i spend at home.

Anyway, here's some other updates:

On the previous sat, bb, Zie loon & I attended the opening ceremony of the Ministry of Food (MOF) at Suntec. We were invited by our previous supervisor, Cecilla, from CHC. :)

The buffet line near the end of the day. They served really good food! There was ebi tempura, salmon sushi, lots of other sushis, fried chicken wings, chicken katsu (really crispy & good!), spagghetti and so on. The 3 of us finished our food b4 i got to snap any photos, loLx. Cos' we were starving! haha :x

N my fav. of the day... Unlimited scoops of delicious, creamy ice cream!!! =) The ice cream is realli GooOd and we felt healthy after eating it~ loLx. Cos' they used some high quality milk to make these ice creams and this particular type of milk cost 6 times more expensive than the normal milk! Anyway, the 3 of us had like 20sth scoops of ice cream! We tried the Hazelnut flavor, chocolate, strawberry, Tiramusu, Raspberry sorbet, mint and black sesame flavors. Personally, i like the black sesame best cos' it taste like the black sesame mochi ice cream! I had 3 scoops of it! *faints*

When we left MOF, we saw some dedications at the Suntec fountain of wealth. Zl was really amazed by it and asked where can we request for such dedications, hahax.

Earlier in the day.. I met up with Jocelyn & Pris at Bugis to check out my long awaited b'day present...

A lappy bag!!! =) I've requested for a laptop bag and they had hunt many many shops in Sg for it. *touched* =) I had unreasonable requests cos' i told them i wanted a "Slim, sleek, laptop case with handles and a beautiful design." Honestly, i didn't even know whether such laptop bag existed! Lolx. Anyway, this laptop bag is more like a tote handbag but i like it all the same cos' i feel that the design's really artistic! On the right, is the Maxtor portable harddisk which i've put on my wishlist too!. Jocelyn & Pris paid part of it and i top up the remaining with my ang pao money, hahax. 320G for $129!! Cheap cheap!~ Delay gratification is really gd =) I've waited 1.5years to get a portable harddisk okies! loLx. And see, i'm so good to my lappy. =)

Here's Jocelyn who's vV.happy with the perfume she requested for~ She realli realli love this scent and had repeatedly reminded Pris to bring it when we meet up. :) She had requested for the bottle of perfume alone and we surprised her with this beautiful gift set which included the bath gel & body lotion too!~ So she'll smell great from top to toe, loLx.

Of cos', Pris's very happy with her Lacoste dark pink polo tee & her chic & sexy b'day dress too!~ We r 3 very happy August babies cos' we had our wishes granted and we granted each others' wishes! =)

On one of the Fridays, (i can't rmb exactly when), i brought Caro and her frens to Annalakshmi to try out authentic Indian food :) Oh ya, i have yet to introduce her. Caro is my roomie for this AY and she's an exchange student from FrancE!~ She looks v.Asian rite?? hahax. That's b'cos her parents are Chinese. :) Anyway, Caro's a really fun and cool roomie to hang out with!~ She's v.popular with guys too! U'll know wad i mean in awhile.

Surprised by the weird mix? We initially planned the dinner for CW as a farewell treat for him b4 he goes for exchange at Taiwan this sem. But since Caro and her guy frens were at that area that night, i invited them to for dinner too~ =)

On 12th Sept, my family went to our fav. Chinese restaurant for dinner. Exactly one year ago, i brought them to this restaurant and since then, my mum fell in love with the food and service there, loLx. The restaurant's called Pearl River Restaurant btw. It's located at Suntec =)

I saw this b4 i went into Suntec and i thought this is pretty funny and amazing =) U jus need to spend $50 in a single receipt and u'll get a chance to try it out =) It's not merely a kids thing cos' quite a few adults tried it out too~ =)

I saw this advertisement at the toilet near the Suntec convention halls and i thought this is pretty creative~ :) It's a Toshiba ad about their new waterproof laptop, haha.

OoH, here's the “buddha jump over the wall." I only get to taste it when i come to this restaurant :) There'a shark fins in it, a huge mushroom, scallops, chicken meat, red dates and a mini abalone!~ I love the mini abalone!~ loLx

It's been more than 2 weeks since i turned 21years old and i'm happy cos' i finally can activate my auto roaming and watch R21 horror movies!!~ =)

On 16th Aug morning, i went to NTC for my EN105a presentation. Luckily it was more like a sharing session. :) Also, my group, Anstant, was supposed to sell sugarcane drinks on that day at Bukit Batok. It was then called off due to some reasons and hence, i could happily go out to enjoy my birthday!~ =)

My Favourite mushroom soup from The Soup Spoon!!!~ It's really really goOoD!~

J Co. Donuts cos' i was craving for something sweet, hehex. The good thing about being a birthday girl is that beibei will grant my request to EAT ANYTHING I WANT!! WHEE!!~

On 27th July, i had my 21st b'day celebration at Aloha Loyang Sea View Terrace 2 =)

I thought that it'll be really sweet to have some door gifts for my guests hence i made chocolate lollipops! =) For this, i must really thank Clement cos' he accompanied me all the way to the Bake-it-Yourself store at Bt. Timah rd so that i can purchase the lollipop sticks. It was really troublesome as Phoon Huat doesn't sell lollipop sticks. :( Also, we hang out in that tiny shop for soOooO long cos' i simply couldn't decide which mould to get. Hence, thanks Clement, for bring so patient and nice to wait an hour for me to decide mould i wanted. You r realli a good pal!~ =)

That's Jocelyn, me & Pris. They dropped by earlier to help me touch up my make-up!~ N if you notice closely, we were all wearing the same design blouse!~ =) I got these blouses for us from Bangkok cos' they were really sweet to volunteer to be my b'day helpers =) Hence, i thought it'll be really cool to wear sth similiar on my special day, hehex. Thanks Jocelyn & Pris!~ Though we rarely get to meet up, you girls are really nice to me!~ Esp. Jocelyn, who tagged along with me to buy all my decorations too!~ I love u girls! =)

My 21st b'day lightsticks decorations!~ I really love lightsticks and i thought it'll be wonderful to make a banner out of them for my party. Initially, i was really estatic cos' i found some v.special lightsticks cos' they have 2 different colours on each end instead of the one-colour conventional ones. But to my dismay, the lightsticks wasn't bright enough.. :(

Anyway, I must thank Bb, John and Shun Zhong for coming down early to help me put up the decorations and blow ballons too! Esp. John, who promised to help even b4 i sent out my invitations. Really realli touched. =)

Of cos', not forgetting Bb's frens, Hp & Simon who helped me snapped many many photos on that day =)

As i was taking out the cake, Hp & Simon helped bb stick all my ugly photos on the glass doors, hahax.

My pretty cake!! I love the durian filling and that aluminum key on it! I love the candles which was in the shape of "2" and "1" too, though they didn't light up v.well..

While i was frantically looking for my family members to join me for photo session, bb surprised me with this huge gigantic card =) This is the 2nd huge card that i've received from him and I love hand made cards!!~ hehe

From left, a really really special perfume which John brought from me from a really special shop cos' it relocates itself every year. I can't rmb the name of the shop at the moment.. =x Anyway, bb was telling me to cherish it cos' it's 80++ dollars! ohmygod. I shall buy a really good present for John next yr. :)

Then, white musk perfume, which is part of the present which one of my cousin gave :)

N the Dior Addict Summer Litch limited version perfume from Howe. I'll really cherish it cos' Howe was my tcher and boss and hence, it's like a gift from a teacher, hence it's really special~ =)

Finally, rightmost, the Flower by Kenzo perfume,which is part of a present from ManiC cum bfs cum Psych guys. I like the flower prints =)

Here's the most expensive gift which i received:

Lee Hwas PURPLE GOLD pendent with 7diamonds!! (with necklance of cos!) Ohmigod.. bei really really spend a lot.. *guilty* I did say that i love purple gold but I didn't expect bei to really get it for me~ In addition, there's the brillance shimmer powder from body shop which i had patientally waited for 3 months to get hold of it cos' i included it on my b'day wishlist, lolx~

The ice flower series!!! Ohmygod, i had yearned to try it when i first saw this series on the website and i didn't expect i'll receive it for my b'day! (I really didn't hinted about this). Thanks to my JC class guys + yuan & Fur for this wonderful gift! =)

In addition, my JC class girls + Wj gav me a Soo Kee pendent which looks really pretty when worn. :):)

Now for the most interesting gifts that i've received:

A mini home facial sauna system! I'll never have dreamt of including this on my wishlist cos' it's really too out-of-the-box~ This is from my cousin and i think it's a really really interesting gift :):) N I really like it a lot!~ hahax. I shall use it occassionally when i go home on weekends =)

Look carefully at the pink furry cosmetic pouch in the middle of this photo. It's super pink, really furry and looks absolutely girlie!~ hahax. It's from my Anstant pals and i had requested for a nice cosmetic box to keep all my barang barang and they surprised me with this pink cosmetic case!~ Oh my god, i think i'm a bimbo in their eyes, hehe. Oh, and they give me an Esprit cap (top left of pic) which i like lots too!~ I love nice caps though i dun really get to wear it.. But still, caps are nice!~ hehex.

Adhesive bandages (i.e. plasters) in the shape of a kiss! (or rather, think, plump lips). Sam got me this and bei was telling me that he loves to get the weirdest gifts for ppl, hahahax.

Bangkok trip & B'day party and sch starts!~

As usual, i'm lag with my updates again. Bei actually asked me why i didn't update my blog. N i was pretty surprised cos' i didn't know that he had saved my blog address.

Anyway, the long over due post for the Bangkok trip :)

21st - 24th July - 4D3N Bangkok Trip

Thanks to Lester, we got a good deal to go to bangkok :) 2-way Tiger airline transport + 4-star hotel + airport taxes = $418. :)

At the budget terminal :)

This is Lester and Weeling, my group mates for my entrepreneurship project :)

The plane that brought us to Bangkok! And the pilot was a caucasian lady!

N we reached the airport at Bangkok!

N so.. we checked in to our hotel at Baiyoke sky. Lester & Wee Ling stayed on the 31st floor while Bb & I stayed on the 25th level. We got a family suite!! Lucky lucky us. Lester & Wl got the normal twin room. It's slightly smaller and without the single bed.

Then there was this walk-in wardrobe!! I dunno why they put a walk-in wardrobe in hotels. Maybe it's for us to display our purchases,haha.

Whee!!!~ =)

N since Jul kept recommending the Thailand's pork burger, we decided to head down to Mac to try it, hahax. It's really nice and soft! Much tender than the Mac chicken that we have. N the best thing is....

They sell taro pies!!!!!! My favourite pie!!! loLZ.

After lunch, we started our shopping spree at MBK. MBK is a popular shopping mall in the Bangkok district. Anyway, We decided to split into pairs so that we could be more efficient in browsing all the shops. N we agreed to meet at Swensens at 6pm for dinner

N when it was 6pm, we went to the meet point, but Lester & wl didn't turn up.

We waited, and waited, till 6.30pm, still no sight of them

At 7pm, they still didn't appear. Hence we decided to eat at a nearby cafe while keeping a lookout for them..

At the Bug & Bee cafe:

We tried this! I can't rmb wad's this called.. loLx. Anyway, it's like curry potatoes and chicken in the middle and it's quite tasty.

Then we tried this crepes too! It's like stir-fried layers of pasta and it tasted really good.

Anyway, after dinner, Lester & Wl still didn't turn up and we were so worried that sth happened to them. We tried contacting them, but Wl didn't hav auto roam and Lester left his phone in the hotel.

At 8pm, we decided to walk around to look for them and...

We finally found them! Lolx. They said that they were waiting at the Swensens downstairs! There's actually 3 Swensens in this whole shopping mall! Gosh! Who will think that there'll be so many identical restaurants in the same building, loLx.

So lesson learnt: When u go to Bangkok, rmb to specify exactly where and which unit to meet at.

In Singapore, there's a lot of stray cats. In Bangkok, there's a lot of stray dogs and they love to sleep at almost everywhere.

Ooh! We spotted this car and i thought it looks cute. :)

We went to try the traditional Thai massage too. It was much gentler than i expected. Then that night, on our way back to the hotel.. We were stopped by the Thai police at a road block and he wanted to check our passports. Of cos' we didn't bring our passports out, so Lester and Wl showed their ICs to prove that we are Singaporeans.

Then the police officer said: "No seat belts, no passports, u must pay 500bahts each or go police station."

It was so ridiculous cos' there wasn't any seat belts in the taxi in the first place! It's not our fault for not putting on the seat belt. N 2000 bahts in total! That's so corrupted, loL.

After some bargaining and stuff, we paid 200bahts in total and left.

Lesson learnt: When stopped by a police in Thailand, just pretend that u don't understand English and they won't be able to do anything to u.

Virtual Business Challenge Finals @ HCJC

From 26th - 29th June, we helped out at HCJC too :) This time, we are known as "game mentors", who guide JC students throughout the gameplay for marketplace. It's quite funny cos' we are regarded as "seniors" when we are with the young, and "assistants" when we are with the seniors, loL.

My group is the only non-HCJC team who entered the finals. They were buddies since their secondary school days in Anderson Sec. Since i'm from AJ, i'm considered affliated to them too, hahaha. Anyway, they are really guai, adorable, and like my little brothers. :) They love watching Simpsons video clips during their breaks, hahaha. The guy in front, Edmund, is the leader of this group. He looks rather like the younger version of toolbox, hahaha.

Matthais's group kept holding on to these wombat plushies. According to them, these wombats are their good luck mascots and each member of their clique owns one. They always bring these wombats to whichever competitions they participate in.

Lunch on the last day with 2 members from Matt's team, at a cafe in Coronation Plaza. The food's quite worth it. There's soup, garlic bread, one main course and free flow of drinks, and students pay only $6.50 :) Really worth it :)

The thank-you gifts which my group prepared for me. :) So sweet of them cos' most of the other teams didn't perpare anything for their mentors. My NJ team gav me so many chocolates cos' i always buy them chocolates during that 4 days, hahaha. And on that little piece of blue note, they wrote "Thank you for your guidance these 4 days. =) Even though we may not be the winner, we still love you :)"

AwwWw.. *melts* I'm going to keep this note with me forever ^-^

Back to the Marketplace

For the past 2 weeks, I've ventured back into Marketplace again. In case u dunno wad's Marketplace is, it's actually a virtual business stimulation game which i played during my EN104.

Introducing the crew: (Back row from left) Kenny, Clement, Alvin, me, Matthais, Zul. The guy in front is our boss, Howe =)

We were employed as game assistants to assist the senior executives from Air Liquide throughout their stimulation game. Basicially, we are there to guide them through the program, help them if there's any technical difficulties, take care of their welfare, interact with them and so on.

There's 6 teams in total, but i only hav pics for 5 of the teams =x. Anyway, Do take note of that beau sitting in front of me. He's my eye candy throughout the whole 2 weeks and i'm so lucky that he's in my team, hahaha. Andreas's the youngest in my team, and he's the CEO. :) He's super shuai, charming and charismatic in real life. He's really sweet to his wife too, cos' he skipped the closing dinner on the last day to rush back to Austria to celebrate his wife's birthday. Furthermore, he had planed his wife's birthday party so merticulously that he took 1 whole month to prepare for everything. =) If only he was 20 years younger, wahahHax.

It's really cool to interact with the senior executives too. They are really capable and well.. rich, hahahax. A terrific place to find sugar daddies. Anyway, they are all high-ranked staff from 16 different countries, working for Air Liquide - a company originated from France which deals with soluble gases, compressed gase etc. They were specially selected to fly over to Singapore for a 2 weeks training program :)

Oh, and it's a pity that i didn't learn to speak foreign languages too =x. In my team, there's Jacky who speaks French, Takeshi who speaks Jap, Andreas who speaks German, Athanassios who speaks Greek and of cos', Ming Yi who speaks perfect Mandarin. There's even guests from Agentina, Spain, Canada, Taiwan, so on and so forth. I did try to learn a few German and greek words, but i can't really rmb them now. =x German is much easier to pronounce than greek though.

Ooh, and Air Liquide invited us for the closing dinner too :) According to the Logistics manager, Sharon, each pax for this dinner costs $90!!! Of cos' that's inclusive of wine, food, utensils, decorations and everything.

The seats were pre-arranged :) That's white wine at the back. It didn't taste v.nice and even Matthais rejected it. We had red wine too, and according to Matthais, the red wine was of premium quality.

The appetizer - Pan seared scallops in shell, drizzed with cardamon emulsion. The salad on the right is actually strawberries =)

Next up - Cream of carrot, topped with paprika-cheese bread sticks. The soup is really special and yummy and we couldn't get enough of the break sticks. It tastes like ten times better than normal garlic bread. :)

Main course - Silver cod. Citrus marinated cod fish served with orange sauce reduction, potato mash and seasonal vegetables. We could choose between steak and fish and since i can't eat beef, then i took the fish :) The sauce is really nice, but the seasonal veggies was quite horrid cos' it's soft brinjals and i never like brinjals =x The mashed potatoes was nice and thick though. N it's really filling :)

Dessert - Tiramisu. It's pretty yummy and there's lots of brandy in it. The transparent cup contains a minty raspberry drink thingy which i really really love :)

Lastly, coffee, loL.

Oh, and we took photos with lots of the senior guests too. :) And being the only female game assistant, i had the privilege of receiving many compliments and requests to take photos too, hehe. Afterall, Caucasians tend to be more expressive, especially since they were a lil' tipsy after the drinks, loL.

This is Clement's hunk, Jerome. Clement really thinks that Jerome is vV.shuai and apparently, he's indeed good looking, especially in this photo :) But i must still argue that Andreas is more shuai than Jerome in realy life, haha. Anyway, Clement was so shy to request for an individual photo with Jerome that he told him that I think he's very good-looking and wants to take a photo with him. Lol. Luckily i'm nice enough to not sue him for mis-using my name. Anyway, poor Clement got ignored by Jerome in this photo, hehe.

Us with Jamie. He's a Canadian and we think he looks like a wrestler, haha. Jamie doesn't know wad's wrestling though. He says he plays kickboxing :)

I've spent a happy happy week :) I took pictures! But it's such a pity cos' my hp's cable doesn't seem to be working anymore, and the pictures i took with my old Ricoh digi cam is suPer blur! -hmpf-.. Oh well, i'm going to get a new hp soon :) And perhaps a new pink digi cam at the upcoming IT fair, hehe.

Saturday
My tai tai day! Went to the "make-up" course with Marion at Bobbi Brown, Raffles city in the morning. Then felt quite cheated =x The course costs us $80 each, and upon reaching, we realized that it's a make-over, not make-up course, loL. So basically, we sit at the counter, along with several other ladies, and the sales girl helped us choose colours and make-up. Basicially, it was a promotion for Bobbi Brown's Nude theme. We didn't really learn much :( But luckily, i picked up a few make-up tips from the sales girl who helped me do my make-over. She's really friendly, and she's the same age as me!! gosh =x

Anyway, we received $80 Bobbi Brown vouchers and it can only be used to exchange 2 to 3 items cos' all their cosmetics cost $30++ or $40++, loL. So in the end, i got myself a concealer and a blush base. $82 in total. I think all the make up i got b4 this course doesn't even cost that much lo, loL.

After that, went to meet Yan Lin for our diamond-peel facial. I was terribly late and got lost cos' i came up the wrong escalator! Gosh. Haven't been to Orchard for so long that i've like forgotten where i'm supposed to go =x

The $28 diamond-peel promotion was a gimmick too, haiyo. For those who went facial b4, a typical facial procedure consists of 3 steps: extract, soothing and mask. So this diamond peel is only an exfoliation thingy, and it doesn't have all 3! LoL! So according to them, if we opt for the full facial package, is $28 x 3 = $94! That's b4 gst and stuff. After all charges, is $99!!! So expensive!! $99 can let me do 3 times facial at my old facial house lo! *hmpf*

So I asked, whether we can just do the diamond peel. Then the beauty consultant adviced that it's better to pair it with at least the cooling part so that our skin won't be so red after it. In the end, i took the diamond-peel + soothe = $58, while Yan Lin took the $99 package. =x

And after lying down, the beautician assigned to me offered to help me do a little bit of extraction. So i said okay. Then she use the metal thingy, and pushed so hard down onto my face! So painful!! My previous facial experiences does not have such cases b4 lo! =x

After the whole facial, Yan Lin complained that tt the beautician assigned to her also did the same thing! And she used the "push-down-hard-hard" method for her whole face lo! Gosh! Don't ever want to go back there for extraction ever. =x

Sunday
Project meeting with Anstant in the morning, then celebrated my dear cuzzie, May's birthday! yay! The first rabbit to turn 21years old, lol. And this dear girl actully planned to celebrate her birthday for like, 3 days???? Gosh. Then my relatives started asking when's my turn, haha. Ohmigod. I can't imagine a b'day bash with all my relatives and frens. I really got a lot of relatives. =x

Went shopping with Wei Lun, May and Patsy, and this is the first time i step into sooOo many CD shops in my whole life, gosh. My dear cousin, w.lun, seem to hav a fetish for drama serials, loL. And it seems like 90% of the shops he goes to are CD shops, from HMV to Poh Khim and dunno wad =x Anyway, it's nice shopping with cousins =)

After that, i went back the the bare Hall 13 room cos' of my special sem lesson :(

Monday
The v.1st day of my special sem class. Met up with Ser Hong in the morning to settle some admin stuff, and she was so nice to accompany me for the first part of the lesson! We were 30mins late, reaching the lecture hall at around 11am, and stare, while sometimes breaking into giggles till 12.30pm. Throughout the 1h 30mins, we didn't see a single word at all. The ppt contained only pictures! Heaps of it too!

After lunch, i went to sit with Ben from Psych and his fren. Basicially, he's the only familiar face i see in class. The prof taught us how to drop a room from different viewpoints, and for a moment, i was awed by his flexibility and his 3-D drawings. But.. after an hour of drawing, he went back to flashing pictures again, for the rest of the 3 hours! ZzzZzz.... (-.-")

Went to watch "The Iron Man" with beibei after lesson at Shaw House. Had KFC buddy meal for lunch, then i had the sudden crave for the popcorn, loL. Cos' i went there with my dear frens from SP b4, and the popcorn taste nicer than GV's. Anyway, I insisted on the medium size meal (for 3-4 ppl), while bb kept advising me to choose the small meal instead (for 1-2 ppl). Despite his advices and nags, i still went ahead to get the medium size meal since it's only a $1.20 top up from the small meal. Oh! The bucket of popcorn was really big! But the popcorn's nice =) And guess wad, we finished it! Wee!! Oh, we took photos. I'll find a way to upload it :)

"Iron man" was pretty nice, a little unlike the typical superhero show. At least this movie displays the unbelivable intelligence and wits of the main character himself. And he use his ability for defense instead of helping victims.

After tt, went back to my boring room again.. :( Luckily Candice was coming back that day! :)

Tuesday
As usual, the flashing of pictures for 4hours, then 1 hour of drawing. It's really zZzz... =x

Initially planned to go ice-skating with beibei, then went to find his leather shoes instead, hehe. Finally brought a pair at IMM and shopped around :) So nice, really holiday mood, hehe.

Wednesday
Went to the make-up course which i registered with Career Hub. It's called "Make-me Over" and cost $80 too. I think i really invested a lot of money for proper make-up training :x And i must thank my bb for being the greatest motivating factor for this, loL.

Anyway, this make-up course is really much better. We were allowed to try hands-on and Sally, the make-up consultant shared lots of tips with us. At least now i know the proper make-up procedure, hee. It's to hard being a girl, loL.

Went Suki Sushi @ Hougang Plaza for dinner, and we had the $1 salmon shashimi promotion =) Bb loves salmon, and i believe that salmon is good for our body too, hehe. Took pictures too. Shall wait for bb to upload it first :)

Thursday
K box day at Chinatown! It's been dunno how many months since we last went k-box. I rmbed that the previous time i went was when Jiaqi was still in S'pore. Tt means like more than 5 months ago, loL. Anyway, the K-student from 2-7pm package was quite worth it =) $14.50 net only, free flow of drinks!

After that went Drumzout meeting and had to share cab home, loL. :(

Friday
Bb and me went to ECP to skate!! Okie, i must admit that i'm a dumbo when it comes to skating. I actually took a 4 session in-line skating course when i was in sec 2 and at the v.end of the course, i still stumble around and barely walk without falling down, loL. Then 1 yr + ago, i went to ECP to skate with 20/04 peeps a couple of times and i always end up hugging the lamp post and refusing to move, loL. The same applys for ice-skating, such that i went there thrice, and still couldn't walk without holding to the handles and the sides of the rims. So u can say that i'm really a noob.

It's bb's first time trying skating too, and he went online for a 5mins tutorial from Youtube. While we start to skate, i also told him a few techniques verbally. Of cos', it's all verbal. I can describe wad the instructor taught but my poor motor coordination and fear of instability always disappoint me when i attempt to try them out. So we tried to walk, step-by-step, holding hands. And after like 2 rounds, we were able to walk alone!! -squels!- After another round, we were able to push ourselves forward a little faster! Wee! I think i've made the most progress today compared to the past 5 years lo, loL! Thanks bb, for holding my hands! =)

So that concludes the honeymoon week. I got 2 CHC sessions this weekend, and BB's starting his PA next week. So i'm going to start making MS calls too from next week onwards. I must try to earn more and save up for my hp and digi cam =)

It feels so good to not feel guilty for slacking and playing!~ =)

I guess Gumert was pretty nice to us, cos' it's the first Psych paper which so many people can leave the exam hall earlier =)

And so, after exams, the first thing i did was.. go for a swim!!!! YipeE!!~

It's been ages since i went for a dip in the SRC swimming pool. The last time i swam there was like during Itineris senior camp?? And it's not even considered swimming! Anyway, it feels really really good to just relax in the water and to feel so carefree =)

However, i was qt. disappointed that there were sooOo many ppl at the pool! Till we were instructed to swim breath and we did not even a decent space to swim across! I don't like swimming breaths. It's quite meaningless unless it's a dive :(

Anyway, it was the first time i tried to bathe at the SRC washroom and well, the washroom's really CMI =x It was sooOo flooded that i decided to just rinse, wipe myself dry and go off. And when i stepped out of the cubicle, i got the biggest shock of my life!! Ohmigosh, i still feel traumatised =( I told bb abt it and he said that's the way everyone bathes in the guys toilet. But i dun go to guy's toilet wad! No wonder i felt to shocked and embarrassed when i saw nudes standing and walking around in the toilet =x I feel so conservative, loL.

We went IMM for dinner and after walking round n round n round, i finally picked cafe cartel, loL. Cos' the food in so many restaurants are soOo expensive! gosh. We shared the promotional pork ribs and newly introduced chicken cutlet, not bad. But can't finish, hahaha. Anyway, we met Candice there!! So qiao~ loL.

Oh btw, i've shifted most of my stuff back home. Except for those large furniture like the fridge, rack and TV. Not sure how i'm going to shift them back =x But anyway, i didn't feel v.gd cos' i packed so noisly and Candice couldn't really concentrate on her study =x

Anyway, bb and i decided to enjoy ourselves as much as possible b4 his PA starts. Special sem lessons start on next Monday for me too. But at least i still got many free days =)

Oh, and we went bowling today!!!! It's ages since i last bowled and it's the first time i went bowling with bb! And guess wad.. I trashed him!!! -squeals!- 106 points to 75 points. *wide smiles*

Going to make-up course with Marion and facial with Yanlin tmr lo! Tmr is my tai tai day! hehe.. tata!~

After reading Tingting's entry, i realized that i got the same symptoms as her when studying Cognitive Development Psych!!!

Draggy!!!! (b4 opening the book and when reading the chapters). I wonder isit b'cos of the 4 column style or because of the super naggy and loOoong chapters. It's so hard to sustain attention when reading and it makes completing 1 chapter a great and tedious achievement.
Microsleeps!! I think this txtbk is a good alternative to cure insomnia. At least it wont lead to tolerance.

So conclusion is.. the txtbk is simply too wordy! -hmpf-.. I swear i won't mind selling this book away to juniors. I think i'll sell my cognitive textbook too. No more cognition related modules in the future for me :(

And while we are still slogging away studying...

People are packing their stuff and moving home!! :( In fact, it's so much easier to find seats in study rooms nowadays. Hall 11 study room is like less than 1/4 filled!

But well, at least we have more time to do our revision..

My little aunt just informed me that she's going Korea for holiday tmr.

So niceEee!!~*jealous* She always go for holiday trips while i'm still in the midst of exams. :( But she says she'll being back some beauty products from The Face Shop for me! hehe. Heard that the price there is 50% lower than in S'pore!

Anyway, i've completed my 2 bio-themed papers. The first time in my life taking bio related exams, loL. The questions are really straight to the point and don't know means don't know. Sadly, i had to make guesses for so many questions. :( I guess i wasn't very sure about my answers for the BioPsych MCQs.

Sci or Fiction was slightly better even though this year's paper is supposed to be the killer paper. Actually, last year's paper, though consisting of silly questions, also got many many traps. I rmbed that Ting and I were laughing in LWN when we saw this question:

Electroshock egg?? Cook egg using microwave??

In the end, electroshocking is actually the correct option, loL. A is the correct option.

At least Biopsych gave us a teeny weeny advantage for this da chang jin paper :) Poor bb's still racking his brains today about wad are Neurotransmitters.

Oh, and i'm forever drifting away from my book cos' i keep thinking of what i wan to do after exams. This is seriously a bad habit, cos' i can't substain my concentration without drifing off every few minutes! *hmpf*.. =x

So i'm going to spend some time and list down my plans.. hahahah. At least listing them out will make me daydream lesser.

After exams, i must and will:

Attend lessons for my special sem module. Can u believe it, i'm schooling again in holiday!! My last yr Dec holidays was delicated to Entre modules, and now, i'll spend like 6 weeks for a civil engine module to clear off my STSS. It's called 'CV8802 ARCHITECTURE APPRECIATION IN CIVIL ENGINEERING'. But luckily, i'll only have to come back to school about 9 times for this module. I've checked out the exam paper b4 selecting this module and i guess it should be about drawing and designing simple structures, like bridges =D It's quite a paradox though, cos' i'm taking an elective of Candice's course and she's taking an elective from Psych! hehe..

Assist Chee Hui :) I miss chit-chating with her during RP sessions! And also blog-exploring led by Julyn during RP sessions, kekez. Surprisingly, these blog-exploring sessions during RP help update me about Manics, lol. I dun understand what i've been doing online. Lag in blog updates, and forever not logging on to MSN. :(

Assist Howe! This time i'm going to assist people from the corporate world in playing the Marketplace!! The stimulation game i played in EN104. I hope Howe will give us instructions soon! *prays*

Mystery shopper calls! Lynn promised to give me heaps of calls! I can work from home whenever i'm free! Wad a nice job.. Calling up people, disturbing them and testing their customer service skills.. Btw, i think they have already blacklisted my house number for all these calls, hehe. Or perhaps, whenever i call, they'll have this *blink blink* MYSTERY SHOPPER ALERT signal appearing. Hoping for more Mystery shopper assignments too! So fun to secretly video cam the sales assistants, loL.

I was craving for Nutritea and so i happily went down to the tiny minimart at hall14 to buy..

N i was so happi that there was 3 packets left - including 2 which is my preferred flavor.

Hence, i happily paid for it and returned to my room. Then i realized...

the expiry date is 6th April 2008!! *argh!!!!* =(

Stupid me. so overwhelmed by the happiness till i forgot cleanly that it's 7th April already. =x

Ohmigosh! This is so interesting la. An elective offered by Gynaecology! How cool is that??

N i must say, the Psych majors in NUS are really spoiled for choice! They have 3 yrs to choose from such a looOong list.
N we have so few interesting modules to choose from fro a 4 yr course.

But well, if i went to FASS, then i wouldn't hav met bb, Manics and so many nice peeps :)

No more Genting trip!! =( After i manage to psycho my bf to go for the trip, someone else pang seh and then it's cancelled..
It's a pity.. Cos' no more promotion! Supposed to be $60 for 3D2N. Now the price have rebounced back to dunno how much le.. :x

Anyway.. I'm looking forward to Redang!!! Redang Redang!!~ yaY!~ Julyn is so nice to plan trips for us :) Too bad Singapore don't have many fun places, or else we'll be able to reciprocate~

Last Friday, Chee Hui (Ch) treated Jul and me to Ichiban!~ It's the 3rd time i've eaten at Ichiban JP, and for all 3 times, I was treated :) 1st time with my little aunt, 2nd time with the Manics to celebrate Jul & my b'day, and 3rd time Chee Hui!~ Oh btw, Ch is such a cute and blur girl tt i think she can compete with the Manic pres, hehe. Wad's cool is that she eats everything except onions and yet can be so slim!~ It always astonishs me whenever she says she like sth, which i also like, but was condemned for! like pork liver and bean sprouts. *hehe* Oh ya, since we girls couldn't resist desserts, we ate Anderson's ice cream after Ichiban!~ Uni students, rmb to flash ur matric card at Andersons for a 10% discount =)

On Sat, after a tiring EN105 battle, i attended Shujun's b'day party!~ She's my JC darling!~ haha, my daddy, who abandoned partner Leng and then formed a couple with my mummy Eunice. Anyway, it's a pity tt Eunice couldn't make it for the bbq party.. or else we'll have a great family reunion, loL~

Btw, Leng & I went shopping for S.Jun's prezzie, and i got a set of makeup brushes for her! Cool right?? Girls usually won't buy makeup brushes for themselves. But it's always nice to receive them as a gift :) In addition to that.. Leng & me went into Guardian, looking for masks.. and we found... a Breast firming, hydrating and dunno-wad-other-benefits mask for S.Jun!! It was so hilarous when she saw and read the label to everyone, hahahahahxz~

It was fun to make games with them too.. though S.Jun's bf & Fel still owe us a forfeit! N it was fun to catch up with the Hougang guys when we went home together. The 1987 guys are coming into uni soon! Time really flies~

Oh, and next party will be Felicia's 21st :) It'll be during exam period though! So i better go mug now.. Chao!~

The short getaway last week was uber nice. Though the money wasn't well spent, the company was great :)

~Sorry, no photos. As many should know, my shake-sensitive digi cam is forever resting in my drawer at home. I'm a bad owner, cos' i consistently trap it and even considering replacing it someday, =s

Well.. i guess shake-sensitive cameras and shaky-hand owner aren't compatible at all.

Anyway, during the short getaway, the thrill for us girls was the 5 hot boys, (perhaps not so significant for the tied-downs and the disinterested). Anyway, i was telling bb about this sensational story about the flirtatous exhanges and secretive hopes that the guys will take the initiative to approach the girls. It all ended in a sad tragedy - perhaps because the guys did not have the courage, the girls were not seductive/attractive enough, or the guys were merely being faithful to their significant other.

Bb actually commented that it's basic courtesy for the males to approach the females when females give 'the signal'. Especially in places meant for social exchanges and the forming of friendships/relationships/flings, wadever. He felt that despite being attached, in such social gatherings, w/o the presence of the females, guys should still approach girls who elict flirtatous glances. Cos' this is basic courtesy.

~ Perhaps tt's why guys don't like to bring their significant other to such social gatherings. From what i heard, some term this as 'da bao' (i.e. bring lunchbox when u r going out for lunch with ur buddies). Take lunch literally as food. It's meant to be eaten. Get it?? =x

Then can i say that ladies, attached or single, can be food for others too?? -duh-

Actually, after listing it out, there seem to be lesser projects than i thought. Afterall, i have endured through the bi-weekly marketing projects. Perhaps it's due to the intensity of Psych projects. The numerous articles Psych students have to go through and then forgetting to get the citation and reference :(

Biz projects are challenging - Cos' u dunno who u have to work with.
Entre project, though intensive, is really fun!~
Psych projects' the most nerve-wrecking and damaging to eyesight :(

My 2nd V'day with baobei was really nice, and filled with a line of planned surprises, as usual

After our Bio in pop lecture, bb brought me to his room and chased his roomie out. Then, he presented me with this:It's called 'As big as my head 的花' because i joked that i want a rose the size of my head for V'day!~ hahaX.

Then.. BB came over to my hall at midnight, to pass me my 2nd surprise. He was just in time to witness Ting in a frenzy and packing up to deliver the handmade sushi surprise to her toolbox too. :p

My 2nd surprise!~ A handmade spaceship-like gift containing dried petals, transparent pebbles and 9 roses which he folded and carefully arrange!~

YipeE!~ I love hand-made stuff. Though i'm not quite sure what i can do with this though, hahax. I kept trying to touch and poke the inside of the jar, but bb didn't want me to mess up the roses which he carefully arranged, lol.

And so.. I presented him with my master piece!~ tada!~

On V'day, we went to Aston for dinner!~ I was so smart to guess correctly the place that he was planning to bring me too, hehe.

Surprise 3!~ Bb popped up with a bouquet of lillies while i was wondering around on the Boon lay Mrt platform!~

White Lillies!~ yay~ My favourite flowers :) I love roses, sunflowers and tulips too. But white lillies are special. Almost every girl on the street carries a bouquet of roses, but i got lillies!~ hehex. My bouquet stands out!~ loL -typical leo-

And sorry for the lack of photos of food. I always forget to take pictures of food cos' we have the habit of digging in immediately, hee. Julyn and Ting must influence me more.. so that i'll take pictures of nice food next time!~ :p

Anyway, the food in Aston's really affordable and good. I love the place. Though it was rather cramped (cos' they split out all the 4 tables into 2 tables), it was really warm and lively cos' every diner there came with their significant other!~ And it's love in the air for a change :)

In Dec, i brought 5 Neutrogena Masks from Watsons when they sold it at a discounted price of $1.95.

According to the price label, the masks are sold for UP:$7.10EA.

And i thought that $1.95 was really quite affordable. But it's a pity that Watsons sells these masks at $1.95 only at a certain period of the year. So my supply of 5 have almost run out. There's only one remaining cos' i bu she de to use it.

And today, when BB and me stepped into John Little at JP.. We saw dozens of the Neutrogena Masks! Selling for $1.80 each! 15cents cheaper! loL

And before you think that i'm so auntie to account for the 15 cents difference.. Read this:

me: BB!! They actually sell Neutrogena masks at $1.80! Gosh!
BB: Buy buy buy! So long then got discount. Stock up more!
Me: Okie, i shall buy 10 masks this time.
BB: 10???? Buy 20 lah.
Me: Huh? 20 ar? Okie lo..
(And we tooked 20 masks and joined the super long queue).

Me: Hey, wad's this 20% storewide sales about? (points to a poster)
BB: (taps sales assistant) Is there a 20% storewide discount now?
Sales assistant: Yup! :) (then looks down at the 20 masks that we were holder and was momentarily stunned).
Me: Gosh! 20% off! That means one mask around $1.50 only!
BB: Okay, go and get another 10.

And so, i brought 30 Neutrogena masks, plus another 2 Korean brand masks to try them out. Hence, 32 masks in total.

Call me crazy, but i can't believe such luck. It's partially sponsored by my dearest bb and the masks are supposed to be my one year supply anyway.

I'm a little slow in blogging, so here goes:
"ExamS' oveR!!!! WaAAaaAAaa!~"

I really don't like packed papers, cos' there's so much interference when studying (especially when my memory's so super bad). But well, since exams' over, i shall not think too much bout it =)

Went for the entrepreneurship course briefing on Friday, after Cognitive paper. Initially, i was so worried bout OBS and the course. But i'm now actually looking forward to OBS (though not the course yet..) I enrolled alone, so hopefully, i'll befriend many many potential entrepreneurs =)

Anyway, Friday was such a happening day cos' it happened to be my baobei's b'day, and it's the 2nd time i celebrated his b'day with him! :) Bb's so ke lian cos' his b'day always fall in the exam period. I'm even more ke lian cos' i have to brainstorm for ideas during the intense mugging period. Though bb kept nagging tt i shouldn't prepare anything, i still couldn't resist it. How can i let my darling lead such a boring b'day rite?.. It's my baobei's birthday, not some tom, dick or harry.

So everything started with my sara lee cake topped with heapS of nutella plus mini M&Ms and strawberry chocolate decorations! So sorry for the lack of photos cos' the pics are all in my phone and i forgot to bring my nokia cable back from hall =x.

Anyway, despite Cavan's (my Leo counterpart) warnings, i went over to hall 11 and surprised my bb with the self-decorated cake at midnight =) I guess he was so happy tt he forgot he's supposed to scold me, hehe.

And after all the exams and everything, i brought him to Icon Village for Sakae's teppanyaki dinner buffet. :) The food's not bad actually. There's some additional unique dishes as compared to the usual dinner buffet, though i was quite disappointed that we only had 4 teppanyaki dish choices. =x Anyway, dinner was really nice cos' we both felt deprieved of good food for such a long period of time, hee.

Oh ya, in addition to the ultra plain, charcoal black pencil case and the billabong beach slippers tt bb chose to be his b'day prezzie, i gave him this too:

How how? isit nice?? I spent so much time brainstorming and planning the treasure hunting thing to lead him to the puzzle, hehe. Though i'll prefer the pinkish version..

Oh ya, i can't believe that i'm going to set off to Malacca with 4 other Manic girls in soon!!! => I'm so excited bout going there with Ht, jul, xian and Hh! We'll be staying over at jul's house and going to the night market, A Farmosa and perhaps facial & spa together! Oh gosh, i'm so sO SO excited!

But i'll miss bb badly.. really badly. :( His OBS last yr was tough enough. But this yr, it'll be like almost 12days before we can really meet each other again. I'll be in Malacca from 25th - 28th, Bb'll be working at the IT show from 29th - 2nd Dec, and i'll be away in OBS from 3rd - 5th. =(

Oh well, i was thinking of working at the IT show, but it'll be really shag if i dun hav any rest days. And I wanna meet Yt, i wanna go out with my CAC foc frens. My mum took leave for the whole of this week, so i wanna accompany her go shopping too! In addition.. i goota finish at least 60 MS calls by end of Nov. I'm so super busy during this holiday!

Recently, my room's so hot that when i sleep, i perspire so much and my bedsheets' so soaked in sweat, yikEs.=x So i took to bedsheets to wash - again. I'm actually washing my bedsheets like once a week, i can't believe it.

Is it the weather or my room? I have 2 fans in my room and stil feel hotTt.. =x

Jul.. how did u survive wif jus a fan working on the lowest mode?.. oh gosH.

And to make things worse, i got this skin allergy to sth, probably to the super strength acne gel that that doctor from the medical centre gave me. Whenever i apply any supposedly gentle, cooling moisturing cream, my skin actually feels scorch - ouch. And when i woke up today, the area around my eyes are so red that it looks surburnt. OhmigosH.

I hope it heals SOON. Or else i'll probably have to wear sunglasses out soon, loL.

Anyway, i jus got my lime green zen stone plus from my bb for my anni prezzie!~ yay~ My long awaited mp3 player after my pink & orange Muvo died on me.

And yesterday, i had steamboat dinner with 5 other Manic members at hall 13 pantry =)

Hall 6 camp wasn't tt tiring as compared to last yr..
of cos.. i'm no longer a freshie..
And it's really good to be a senior cos' u get to tekan freshies and able run away as long as u r not in-charged for tt day.

On the 1st day of hall camp, h.juan, h.ming & I were saying tt all freshies got this blur blur and fresh look, haha.
And freshies are v.guai too. They'll do wadever the station masters ask them to do. Even passing wang zai xiao man tou with their mouths.
i cld see the grins on the guys' faces...
Anyway, hall 6 camp's almost over except for tt super long, dirty and tedious initiation night. It's really a killer.

Social games on first day was nice, except for my horrible fall during finale games. I skidded, fell, tore my knees, but still got up running and leading jaynus, loL. And it's amazing tt i don't feel the pain until i see the blood and wound myself. YikEs. But bb and some other sixians are realli nice. Helped me clean up the wound and bandaged it. A passer-by even passed us a bottle filled with cold water-cooler water to wash away the dirt and blood.

Campfire night was rather blend without SP pairing. There was the usual fire with its flames. It's quite sad actually, to think tt i've planning a nice SP cum campfire night then the SP thingy was withdrawn due to some silly stuff. haixi. Anyway, when ET asked me to be Mcee, i nearly pengX, arhaha. In the end, she pei me be Mcee, hahahax. And we did the hannibal king dance on stage, loL.

Master D was nice, with more programmes but sadly, no clubbing. :( Budget budget. =x Anyway, my junior date's a v.reserved and shy Indonesian guy. Specially chosen by Mr bb. His junior date was also chosen by me.. muahHaha..

As for other taxing activites like the super crazy amazing race, beach games and mysterious special night, i hid in my room and zZzzZ!!!.. hahahaX. But i did help out awhile for Goodies night (aka fright night). By slamming the storeroom door in JCRC room, loL. Anyway, it's pretty scary cos whenever i slam the door really hard, the whole storeroom shakes and there's little stones and rumbles falling on me. Was so afraid tt the place'll jus collapse and bury all of us inside, loL.

CAC camp was pretty nice too. Met a few nice and helpful seniors, but didn't really had the time to mingle around with the freshies :( Oh ya! For SP pairing rite, me & Mer actually matched a pair, who's really a couple! loL. The scence was like:

'U may start to intro urself.. Pls acknowledge each other only by ur nicknames and do not reveal ur real name..'

The girl: holds and feels the guy's hands, then exclaimed, 'I know who u r!!!'

I'm a slack Sixian.

Hall six senior camp was supposed to last from 13th July night till 15th July night. I'm so slack! I went on the 14th morning to assist in the hosting of social games only! hahaX.

Bb's worse. He didn't even go a single day. =x

We were supposed to report at 7.30am on the 2nd day morning. But since i dun hav hall, and i'm coming all the way from hg, i planned to be late, hehe. But in the end, Mr nice guy JJ picked me & Cavan from Serangoon and drove us to school! yaY!~ Saved tt long train & bus ride =D

So we went Mac to get breakfast, then slowly made our way to Hall 6, kekeX.

Then i realized tt i haven't been in hall 6 for quite some time.
It's so peaceful in hall 6 now. Everyone either moved out of hall for the holidays, or got kicked out of hall like me. And most of the name tags on the door were gone. Despite tt, i was glad to know tt quite a lot past yr freshies made it through appeal. Oh ya! Hui Ming got a hall! So we r going over to her room to squat during HSOC, kekeX.

And so, we hosted the hall 6 game. Jj & Jh's station was pretty yucky. Hav to pass Wang zai xiao mun tou using the mouth to each other and the last person hav to eat it up. yuckS la! It's like impossible to pass the xiao mun tou without letting it melt in ur mouth or accidentally kissing each other. And it's so awkward to play such 'unintentionally kissing' game with people u know. But i didnt get to watch them play cos i was at my station with Hui Ming, heeX.

Anyway, Hui Ming & my station game's so amusing la, kekeX. We get to bully freshies and let them 'willingly' entertain us in xchange for imaginery points, hahaX. Oh my gosH. We are so mean =x

Anyway, we ran away after clearing up the finale items, and me, Hui Ming & Hui Juan went JP for lunch. The 3 Huis, hahaX. And so, throughout the whole lunch, HJ and me were discussing intensively bout this guy who treats his gf so badly. In the end, we both got so agitated and concluded tt he's a jerk. =x

Ar well. Only hj & bb knows wad i'm talking bout now.

Coming home with CAC frens is so fun.. It makes the trip from NTU seems much shorter. Anyway, today we managed to enlighten each other bout how the opposite sex feels in relationships. I managed to contribute something which impressed them, wahahAha. They think i can be a relationship consultant and write a book on the 'top ten ways to attract the opposite sex' next time, loL.

I learnt from Kliff about the type of girls which commandos like. It's pretty interesting and i still have much questions to ask him about. But I'll be able to twirl or seduce my baobei with the few tips that Kliff gave today, muaHahahX.

And of cos, i learnt that my lao po got a new bf le. I'm so happy for her, but a few said she changed after entering a new relationship.

Oh well, tt always occur. With every romantic relationship, comes a loss of freedom. You start to drift apart from ur opp-sex frens, u need to keep a distance from them, and most importantly, u can't flirt with guys and must not let them be interested in u at all.

Sometimes it's still good to be a swinging single.

Camp's approaching and so many senior guys have approached me to get a SP for them. HaiXxXx.. y are there so many freshie girls and so few freshie guys..
Honestly, i think some guys do deserve a chance to get themselves a gf. Like Yixi.. i really pei fu him. He'll make a super good husband i think.
Of cos, there's someone who's already attached and yet demand to have the prettiest girl as his SP. I really feel like telling him, "your gf is the prettiest girl already'. I really feel sorry for his gf..

Guys being guys, why can't they be contented with their gfs? True, orientation camps means a great opportunity to flirt around. But if u r attached, at least u must know your limits wad..

Anyway, the amber season kicks off next Monday, when the school orientation camps start.

I've met up with some old friends recently, and bonded more closely with Intineris pals. :)

The past week had been pretty meaningful. My twin sister and me finally went on our very first date after like knowing each other for 13years. Ting and me went for a free skin analysis and found out tt i hav sensitive skin, loL. I met up with Jacintha and had another 2 teeth filled =x And of cos, others..

Past memories and whispers.. It tingles.. it still lingers..

I've also been thrown out of my comfort zone. I've learnt tt i'm not tt mature afterall. I'm still a baby leo..

Someday, i'll be able to accept ppl who go through unethical ways to excel.. and i'll learn why they feel that it's perfectly alright. Some ppl don't believe in saving.. They believe in making money at a faster rate than they can spend.. They improvise other's ideas and make money out of it. Someday, i'll understand why they are able to make use of people around them and not experience the slighest hint of guilt.

FOCs are arriving and i'm pretty excited. CAC FOC will be a greatly anticipated one while hall 6 FOC will be, haiZz... I dun even hav a room to stay during hall 6 FOC =x.

Guess wad everyone. I had 6 cavities filled today, and that's in addition to another tooth being drilled, cleaned and filled up 2 weeks ago. So i actually had 7 cavities in total. Ohmigosh. And according to some calculations, i only have 26% chance that i won't get a cavity in a tooth. That's like so serious la! I probably have the worst set of teeth in this world. Anyway, i had a mini diet conselling. But i know i seriously won't follow it, hee.

No ice cream, no bubble tea, no chocolates, no sweets? Kill me.

Anyway, my dental treatment lasted 5 hours today, Jac put screwed this metal thingy in my mouth such tt my mouth was forced to remain wide open as she cleared the cavities. Having your mouth being forced wide open for bout 4hours is suPer tiring. But my little dentist was so super sweet to help me massage my cheeks =) Oh ya, Jac's my little dentist and she's super duper smArt. She's cute, popular, pretty and hav good brains. I'm so super envious of her! =x Anyway, she's studying her final yr in Dentistry at NUS, and tt's super cooL la. The terms she used, i really don't quite understand any of them, hahax.

Anyway, sem 2 results are out and i'm pretty satisfied cos my results are pretty average and i dun realli hav high expectations of myself. Oh ya, thanks to my twin sister, baobei & me got this nice nice job for one week! Can't reveal anything yet.. After deadline then can reveal, hahahaX. But i know i'll like this job, heEx.

Oh ya, i dropped by at Victoria's Secret Warehouse sale today at Beach rd and well, all the lingerie are so lacy and seductive, loL. The designs are soOoo revealing tt i dun see many ppl buying, hahaX. Anyway, i grab a Zara top and it's pretty comfy. :) They got levis tops, billabong shirts, zara apparel and mango bottoms, all priced at $19.90, plus many many seductive lingeria and night dresses, all priced between $14.90-29.90. Not worth dropping by though. U'll be disappointed with the designs they stock there. =x

I'm back from senior camp and my face's slightly burnt.

I experienced so many emotions for the past few days - anger, happiness, gratefulness, helplessness, dismay.

It all started with smses from frens saying tt they didn't get into hall. And i received the rejection letter too. So disappointed. To think that lots of us participated in to many events and do so much canvassing and sai2 gang1 for the hall and school, yet we still got kicked out. The change of hall allocation system at the beginning of the year was already bad news, and the bad news lead to really devasting news. Kills all the morale of the hall enthus.

Honestly, i still feel the system's so unfair. It's true tt international students go no where to stay except halls and rented rooms. But NTU's still a Singaopore uni afterall. They should at least set quotas instead of putting Singaporeans at such a great disadvantage. I know i shouldn't show too much displeasure here, but well, i will probably have to travel to and fro from next sem onwards. Now i'm traveling to school only twice a week and it's already killing me.

No hall no hall no hall. =( Most probably, halls will only have JCRC members, exco members, freshies and international students from next sem onwards. The others are 'lucky' people who stayed at Pulau Ubin and got the maximum distance points. HmpF.

The next morning, we reported at SAC for senior camp, and true enough, the whole main com didn't get a place in hall too, except for one v.c. who jus nicely scrap through the cut off points. Anyway, i was rather slack at senior camp cos i dun exactly have any duties, hee. So me and the biz mags jus sorta wandered around and participated in games which we think are fun. It's so nice hanging out with them and somehow, i feel tt the CAC big family gives more warmth to the hall committee cos everyone's so funny and respects each other. I noticed quite a few chio sub-commers too =)

The pool games were fun, and fright night was nice too. It's one of the rare times i feel spooked cos i dun exactly like jungles and rocky paths. And yeA, cw laughed at me so loudly after he successfully made me scream, loL.

And so, i happily reached home, with all the wonderful memories in my head and then someone have to make me feel so helpless, frustrated and dismayed. ArgHx, *ShrugS* Some problems jus cannot be solved.

I've explored the new SPTI and visited most of my ex-colleagues at SP with Xuan xuan and it was soOooOo nice. =) We brought pastries, gave them a surprise visit and were soOo pleasantly welcomed =) Other than those new replacements, everyone rmbed and recognised us, whoaAHa. Even those darling meter readers. They still rmb me as Richard's little assistant and even rmb my name too, hahAx. It's not easy for non-chinese people and old people to rmb my name k.. =)

So everyone updated both xuan2 and me on SP gossips. The Tarzan, the sarbo-king, the new & old darlings and blah blah blaH. HahahX. I reaLLy miss them =) I miss Sim sim delivery, i miss gossiping with everyone else, i miss hearing stories and experiences, i miss working with them. And they miss us girls too~ haHaX.

Even Mrs Ho rmb us too. Though i didn't really had the chance to work with her. She intro us the the new temps as their 'zhang3 bei4' when we are actually all born in the yr of rabbiT.. hahaaHx. Oh ya, Mrs Ho's realli reallY nice and she'll be my new role model. :) A loving wife, doting mother, friendly colleague and capable executive worker. I wan to be able to juggle work & home like her someday. =)

I watched Blades or Glory with Baobei and it's nicEeE =) There's some spastic parts, but overall, it's nice, nicE, & niCe. =) I wanna catch Pirates next, hahaX.

Oh ya, i meT Ting on the train again, hahaX. It's always soOo qiao cos' somehow, i always chance upon heR. And we are going to dye hair together! YaY. Her dye hair lobang is so super good, hahaX.

Okie, tmr's MB102's quiz and after tt, meeting. Hopefully it'll end early so we dun have to fork out cab fee again. Cab fee's so expensive.

Oh ya, i'm going to meet the Psy girls later for waffles & ice cream! YuMM!~ =)

Went Ubin with 20/04 and it was so fuN despite only 5 of us turned up.. PooR Leng, who wanted to join so badly but couldn't.. Leng must get well soon and join us in our next outing! =)

It was my 1st time to Ubin (though my mum said i've been there b4.. but i couldn't realli rmb..) and how sua ku can i get.. hahaX. Staying on top of the NTU hill has made me suA ku.. I guess my naturalistic intelligence is really low cos' they all can spot sth, be it nice, huge spiders or mudskippers, and i spot none till someone points out! loL. I'm so unobservant when it comes to nature and insects, hahaX. Oh ya, we saw this realli amazing huge stone statue which resembles Guan yin! It's so amaZing cos Nature carved it! I tried taking photos with my phone but the pictures didn't turn up well at all.. So for pictures, pls visit my class blog :)

It's been so long since i cycled and the previous 6hr night cycling with 20/04 was so memorable too. I still rmb the guys' reactions when the trans waved hi to them, hahaHaX. It rained abit at Ubin.. and we were quite drench. The guys had umbrellas, and yuan had her poncho. But i only got my da tou, hahaX. And it was so exciting to cycle through the woods with the lightning less than 1km away. YeA, i learnt how to calculate the distance of the lightning. =D Cy treat us to sushi too~ and we had a realli nice dinner at Changi village. =)

Oh yeA, beiI surprised me with mocha chip ice cream at my gate yesterdaY nite, jus when i wanteD to go downstairs to buy ice cream from the ice cream man, hahaX. The mocha chip ice cream's reallI nice and it's promoted to being one of my fav. ice cream flavours, hahaX. Mocha almond chip's even better. Coffee & chocolate lovers.. MusT Try! =)

I've had busy days

MB102's 1st seminar then had a meet-up with he Pariss manager on Monday. We didn't get the free food-tasting we expected, but he's a nice old man. Had a vV.nice dinner at a chinese restaurant at Suntec with my ES102 project pals plus baobei. It was rather ex, but most of the dishes are really nice and we really had a nice feast, hahaX. Oh ya, i had my 1st ever "buddlha jump over the wall" and the beijing duck which i missed so much. And the durian pudding there was.. yuM! HahaX. It was the most popular dessert and we had loadS of those. Took pics with Mr Ah lan and Zhongyi too, hahaX.

King mun's in my MB102 tut and Charles Squarepants too! LoL. King Mun's roomie is switching to our tut, and we'll all be project group mates, yaY. Plus another girl and guy i think, whom i dun really know well. No matter wad, i'll hav at least 3 nice group mates, yay~~ hahahX.

I had long meetings too. So long till everyone missed the last train last nite. =x

Had a vV.nice day today too. Overslept, but baobei was so sweet to wait for me patiently at the control station, hee. Explored AMK hub, saw Kym Ng and Zoe Tay fliming some show there, and they took almost the whole day to film jus one TV hour. Had coffee milk ice with chocolate, yuM, then peppermint milktea with extra pearls and Peppermint ice cream! HahahX. I love sweets. Went to J8's arcade and i got interested in this candy + soft toy game machine, so we started playing, hahahaX. Spent quite some money, and we won lots of candies, but no plushie. =( Anyway, we went to the Zinc shop and brought a bag each! yaY. Got the Zinc membership card, so whoever who wants to buy Zinc bag, can borrow for me. =) 10% discount on regular days, and 25% discount on my birthday month. =)

Tmr going to Sakura to eat buffet again. I'm getting fat. And i wanna swim!!! I miss the pool =(

Hiya everyone

I dunno how many found my blog since i jus published it online a few days back. Anyway, it's quite weird tt i'm acutally kinda jobless for 3days already (since my last paper) and i'm not too keen in getting a job. I've been browsing job listings and flipping papers but not being proactive by contacting them. To think tt i used to start work on the day after my exams or prom. Oh well. I'm becoming lazy!! =( The job at CHC is not enough.. i wan a weekday part-time job, preferably can work for only 2 weekdays so i can still have one rest day, hahaX. UrgH. All my lob lobangs dun fit. =(

Anyway, i've been eating and slacking pretty much for the past 2 days. The 12-14 course dinner on labor day with my family and relatives was so filling tt majority of us slowed down for the last 5 courses. Of cos', there was the usual noisy chit-chatting in my uncle's shop as we cousins update each other. And it's so wonderful tt May got into CS in NTU!.. yaY.. The three 1987 rabbits will all be in NTU by AY08/09. =)

And yesterday was a pretty tiring, but nice day. Started off with exploring and reminising at bei's old house area and having kuay chap for brunch. Then watched Spiderman 3 and brought a nice but expensive top, partially sponsered by bei, heeX. Then met up with Hp, jq, simon and his gf for dinner. Jiaqi & Candyce are going to NZ for 2 and a half months and he was sharing with us his plans of plucking kiwis to his trip money back, hahahX. Sounds fun actually, plucking kiwis for a temporary job and getting to eat them as and when u like to. Plus their pay there is so much better than in S'pore. EnviouS, hahax. And they were talking bout exchange trips to US, Mexico or wadever. It's so nice to be able to plan not not worry bout financial problems.

I'm going back to hall soon to pack my stuff and meet up with Cai Yun and bring her around NTU! yaY~

Hiya everyone,

Exams r over and i'm back to blogging, hahaX. But exams over = moving out of hall. sadzZ. =( Here goes my freedom, my privacy, my room and back to the embrace of my family. Well well.. there's pros and cons of cos. But it's so troublesome to shift all my stuff from hall back home, then shift my stuff back to hall just before school reopens. It's not jus clothes and books, but my fridge, pillow, blanket, my tidbits, cooking pots, laundry hanger and everything else as well. I'll need a huge van to put everything in. =x

Anyway, i was packing my books and files yesterday after lunch with Steph and met Harpreet outside my room. She was also packing and she planned to shift all her stuff back to Malaysia. I thought shifting back to hougang was bad enough already. Her's was worse. And poor Olivia, she has to stay in hall for another week before she can go back to M'sia cos' of a SU meeting on Sunday. Ah wellz. The meetings are coming back =(

So i've got my room in Hall 6 for like less than a week before i'm officially not a hall 6 resident anymore, most probably for the rest of my NTU life. That's so sad actually. To think that i've met and known so many friends and acquitances in Hall 6, such tt whenever i walk around NTU, i'll probably recognize a face or two. And so far only my neighbours, Leng and Hui Lin knows i won't be staying in Hall 6 anymore. UrgH.. =(

So (hopefully), i'll get into hall 15. And i'll be roomies with Candyce. Baobei once said tt Candyce and i are fated to be roomies cos' her name contains my full name. Arh well. Shall see how. Afterall, it's easy to be friends but not easy to be roomies.

Oh ya, i met men men on the bus from Woodlands after collecting bei's phone. Looks like he's doing well and i'm actually awed by the change in his attitude towards studies. He actually made me wonder if guys always have this sudden enlightenment which makes them strive to do well in studies. Apparently, guys usually blossom at a later stage and they always do well.

Then after alighting, i met ting at the Hougang interchange, haha. So qiaO, i always chance upon her everytime at Hougang mall aread after i come back from NTU. And she always have this bubble tea in hand which reminds me of my surpressed temptaion for peppermint milk tea with extra pearls. And everytime after i met her, i would end up in the queue of Sweet Talk, hahaX. Anyway, it's so nice to see her well and lively again cos' she always fall sick when staying in hall because of irregular sleeping patterns. Anyway, jus to shout out tt she has been a wonderful roomie and i really miss all the night chats till 5am, haha. We'll start chatting just after midnight and pass the 2-5am witching hours before finally going to wash up, loL. And i won't ever forget how she lead me to notice the pervertic Mr Lizard who always watch us from the ceiling while we bathed. EwW, sick. And we even witnessed how Mr Lizard (or his family) gobbled up flies from the ceiling. Even his evil cracking sound is audible when we were inside the room. GrosS. To think i've been staying with all those lizzies and flying insects for the past 9mths.

Hahax, enough of sickening stuff. Anyway, i'll be fattening up myself in this coming with week with all the buffets and dinner gatherings. Gonna prepare for my annual family's mother days celebration liao. Tata~

Today was the NTU open house and i met one my old fren whom i haven't met for years at the moSt uneXpected place. Yea, i was soOo stunned when i saw 2 person walking towards us at the CHC's foyer after Chen Wei and me locked up the lounge. Initially, i was like wondering why 2 students will come and visit the mueseum and i thought they'll be disappointed to know that the mueseum's closed. But i was so So SO stunned when the girl blurted out 'Hui Qi' and was So pleasantly surprised when i recognised her as Hui Min, my long Long lost Twin sister! =) We didn't lose contact. We had each other's contact number, MSN, friendster, but it's jus tt we haven't met up for such A loNg time due to each other's busy schedule. Hence, this draged for years, from secondary sch, till jc (poly for her) and now uni. Hui min applied for a place in the business course and i seriouslY hoPe she'll come to NTU too!~ Then we'll hav much opportunities to chance upon each other, meet up for lunch and probablY go shopping! hahahX. WoW. I'm still so high after meeting again. It's been like 5 years since we last met. =)

This is really fate. I love her, hahahAX =)

WoO~ I'm going to revitalise my new blog! loL.

The recee at Bugis was cancelled.. so i stayed in hall to mug for quiz instead. Rather disappointed cos' it's one of the rare times i volunteered to joing for racee sessions and it was cancelled due to poor turnout. =x

Anyway, I mugging like a snailll.... hmph. From yesterday nite till this afternoon, i merely completed the biological beginnings. Haven't even reach infancy, loL. Of cos, i was chatting away with Ting till around 5am last nite, hahaX. She started off with describing her imagination bout a little girl playing in the toilet and appearing right in front when she opens the bathroom door. Then i continued with stories bout a dead roomate lying on the bed and 'do-i-look-like-your-best-fren' stories which leng inspired me with earlier on. And those stories really spoOked us out, loL. In the end, we thought it'll be safer to go to the toilet at 5am to wash up instead, loL.

Anyway, i'm freaking myself out too by trying to rmb all those gene-linked and chromosome-linked abnormalities. All those information makes child bearing seems so scary and dangerous, lol.

Yesterday i went to watch the Hexis production, Make Believe. It was a nice play, great acting by fellow hall mates and nice ambience. But the ending's too predictable.. hmM.. Anyway, it's nice to join the hall gathering and even meet a lost OG fren. Things wasn't as awkward as i thought. Well.. everyone's friends =)

Oh ya, Ms Toh from the financial office jus called me. She said i've been selected for the part time job! Yay!! Tt means money for x'mas prezzies, next sem's textbooks and new clothes! YiPeE!! But i've to start work on the 24th Nov morning.. Hm.. Office hours.. I sill wanna take time off to pei baobei.. I wanna go out play with him.. YaY! =)
